I wanted to introduce a new opportunity that we are working on for a leading Advertising/Marketing/ Search Agency in downtown Chicago. Presently they are looking to hire a Search/ Web Analyst. Below are the details:

Job Overview:
The Search / Web Analyst is a hybrid position that involves supporting the planning process as they allocate budgets and optimize plans. This role requires a working knowledge of digital and traditional syndicated research tools as well as proprietary planning tools. There also is some project management involved for research projects or the testing of new tools.

Job Responsibilities:
 Provide support to the team with syndicated research and search engine marketing recommendations
 Working knowledge of syndicated research tools and systems (e.g. Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, Simmons, EZtab, etc.)
 Knowledge of web analytics tools including (Google Analytics, Omniture or proprietary software)
 Understanding and utilization of SEM techniques. Management of 5K+ keywords.
 Help staff with questions about syndicated research tools and systems
 Use Internet to utilize publicly available information sources such as Google, Flickr, Getty Images and etc.
 Assist with research project

Job Skills & Requirements:
 Bachelor?s degree, preferably with a concentration in statistics, math or computer science
 Prior work experience with hands on SEM campaigns, managing thousands of key words and thousands of dollars in yearly budgets
 Experienced with data/web analytics
 Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
 Strong quantitative and analytical skills
 Computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 Strong communication and people skills; positive attitude and team player
 Problem solving ability
 Enthusiastic about the industry and keen to learn
 Ambitious with drive and hard working ethic
